We definitely recommend making a reservation, as we unfortunately can't always accommodate walk-ins.

We recommend that you book an appointment. Each session lasts 2.5 hours at your own workstation. At the start of each session, we’ll give you a brief introduction with all the important information you need to paint. After that, you can let your creativity run wild and paint as many pictures as you like. While you paint, you can relax and chat with your friends, family, or date, making the experience even more enjoyable. During your visit, we’ll be happy to treat you to delicious snacks from our bar.

When you’re done, simply hand in your painted pieces. We’ll take them to our studio, where they’ll be glazed and fired. As soon as your ceramics are ready, we’ll ship them directly to your home.

Payment is made on-site.

Making a reservation at nebu is free. You only pay the flat rate for the individual ceramic pieces.

The prices for the ceramic pieces range from 28 to 67 CHF, with most pieces costing around 40 CHF. The price of the ceramic piece includes paints, use of all tools, glazing, firing, and shipping of all pieces to one address per table.

Would you like a gold border? This is an optional service that is charged in addition to the price of the ceramic piece. The gold rim costs between 28 and 65 CHF, depending on size and detail.

If shipping to multiple addresses is requested, an additional CHF 10 per additional address applies.
While you paint, we’ll treat you to snacks from our bar. Food and drinks are not included in the price of the ceramic piece.

It usually takes 10 to 14 days for your ceramic piece to be ready. Sometimes it can take 3 to 4 weeks. After that, it will be shipped directly to your home.
If you choose a gold rim, it takes about a week longer on average.

Of course. You can easily book groups of up to 8 people online. If you’d like to come with more people, we’d be happy to arrange everything via email at info@nebu.bar - we usually respond quickly. In total, nebu can accommodate up to 55 people.

During the day, Nebu has a relaxed, creative atmosphere that’s particularly well-suited for families and younger guests. In the evenings and on weekends, the vibe gradually shifts to that of a cocktail bar, with a greater focus on drinks and a social atmosphere for adults.

If reservations allow, you can occasionally stay longer.

Yes, there are two ways to give a gift certificate:
1. We offer elegant acrylic gift certificates that you can purchase in-store. You choose the amount, pay in person, and take the gift certificate home with you right away.
2. Alternatively, you can purchase a digital gift certificate online here.

Yes, our glaze colors are non-toxic and food-safe. If any paint does happen to get on your clothes, it can be easily rinsed off with water.

No, please do not put your ceramic dish in the microwave. Sudden temperature changes can damage the ceramic and cause it to break.

No. Even though our reservations always include pottery painting, you’re more than welcome to drop by as a walk-in for a drink, a snack, or just to catch up.

Yes, of course. During the day and on weekdays, there are often one or two tables available where you can settle in and get some work done.

Please! We always love having four-legged friends visit nebu.

The easiest way to get to nebu is by public transportation. Take tram 9 or 14 to the “Talwiesenstrasse” stop.

We do not have our own parking spaces, but public parking is available in the area. Please note: Do not park at Migros in the evening, as their parking lot closes at 8:00 PM.
